September 2008 The Woolston Riverside Southampton regeneration scheme is kicked off with the demolition of the FOTC building." The remediation was carried out by our partner contractor EDSR and the concrete crushing by K & B Crushers. This is the start of the Crest Nicholson / SEEDA long awaited regeneration of the historic site. Edmund Nuttall is the main contractor for the enabling works.
July 2008 "Stoke on Trent Council awards Hughes & Salvidge with contract to demolish two care home facilities." As part of their current regeneration programme, Mill Hill and Edith Beddow contract was awarded to Hughes & Salvidge not just on price but our constant review of methodology, quality, health and safety standards.
June 2008 "Hughes & Salvidge involved in £40m Care Campus at Golders Green" Demolition begins where Jewish Care, a health and social care charity, will build a £40m care campus.
May 2008 "Hughes & Salvidge awarded the demolition of the first building in the Bracknell Regeneration Scheme" This building has been empty for some time and is past being re-usable. Target of 95% plus, for recycling materials from demolition. Our sister company K & B Crushers will process concrete, etc. for re-use on site.

February 2008 "HMS Temeraire put on a great "Passing Out Parade" for Hughes & Salvidge" This was to return the goodwill created when Hughes & Salvidge hosted a farewell service at the now demolished old training base, Pitt Street Gym.
