ASBESTOS REMOVAL

Asbestos is everywhere! Many of the everyday building materials in older buildings contain it.

Areas that have had asbestos removed and declared safe are now deemed to be contaminated due to the continual upgrading of legislation.

Through our "Partner Contractors" we are able to provide a comprehensive asbestos removal service for materials that are deemed to be unsafe as a result of investigative surveys.

We provide all screening and forced ventilation equipment to ensure asbestos dust does not spread during removal operations. All of our operatives are specially trained in this operation with the required breathing equipment and decontamination drills.

On completion of the removal, we provide air tests by an independent analyst to ensure the area is cleaned in accordance with the required regulations and is safe to re-enter. In the event of it being a low level hazard we are able to encapsulate and remove or leave in location as required.
 
Asbestos not only has to be removed safely, it is also to be disposed of in an approved manner in accordance with tthe Environment Agency Regulations.  Our "Partner Contractors" are licensed asbestos disposal contractors.

Type 3 Fully Intrusive Surveys with samples - This type of survey is normally used prior to major refurbishment or demolition and is required to locate all asbesos within a building and therefore a more destructive inspection is carried out. Samples are taken in the same way as for Type 2 Surveys, all in accordance with MDHS100 statutory standards.
